Steel Bridge Songfest will NOT be postponed this year but it WILL change form. It will happen, as usual (according to our complex formula) in the week that includes the 2nd Thursday of June. This means: the songwriting will begin Sunday June 7th and the shows will happen Friday & Saturday June 12th and 13th, but this year there will be no physical gathering – it will happen entirely online through social media. There’ll be online collaborative songwriting sessions (we’re working on a virtual bottle spin) and many little windows into the creative process – watch parties etc. – as the week rolls on. We’ll be editing this announcement with little updates and posting more details elsewhere, so please stay tuned for more information as things develop. Sam is one of 30+ artists who will collaborate and perform in Sturgeon Bay WI for the LOVE ON A HOLIDAY Songfest hosted by Pat MacDonald. Artists collaborate for a week at the Holiday Music Motel. then perform their new love songs on February 7 & 7 at The Third Avenue Playhouse in downtown Sturgeon Bay.
